The Boutique
On June 2nd,2007, surrounded by the fanfare of the culmination of Montpelier, Vermont's second annual Fashion Week celebration, Shaline opened her stunning studio and bridal boutique at 32 State Street. In December of 2008, Shaline did it again! She transformed 27 State Street, another, much larger space into what some called a "fairy tale boutique". Shaline has once again performed her magic in July 2010 and has combined The Boutique & Sewing Studio in one location in East Montpelier!
Only nine minutes from Montpelier this upmarket retailer and designer has moved to 80 Carleton Blvd., East Montpelier.
"So much of my work involves sewing that it made more sense to combine the two aspects of the business and still be in a convenient location for everyone." Shaline's love and skill at sewing has brought many clinets to her shops where she has been custom sewing and altering wedding gowns for over 20 years.
Shaline Bridal has a beautiful front court to enter by and flower gardens to view from her windows, and it is sure to enchant her brides. The new location is fully stocked with her full line of wedding gowns, headpieces and veils, shoes, jewelry, and all kinds of accessories. Most of the gowns and accessories are custom made by Shaline, and her emphasis on local artists and jewelers will continue. Shaline will continue to offer wedding gown cleaning and preservation services and the ever popolular altertaion service for wedding gowns, prom and formal wear. "We are one of the few bridal boutiques anywhere to offer this service to clients who have bought there dresses elsewhere." states Shaline.
